Vishnu Sahastranam Sloka 4

सर्व: शर्व: शिव: स्थाणुर्भूतादिर्निधिरव्यय:|
सम्भवो भावनो भर्ता प्रभव: प्रभुरीश्वर: ||


सर्व: :-जो सबको जानने वाले एवं सब कुछ है

शर्व: :-कष्टों को नष्ट करने वाले /जो प्रलय काल में संपूर्ण सृष्टि का संहार
करतें हैं

शिव: :-जो अति शुद्ध हैं , जो शिव हैं सबके कल्याण कारी

स्थाणु :-जो स्थिर हैं

भूतादि :-जो सम्पूर्ण भूतों के आदि कारण हैं

अव्यवो निधि :-जो कभी व्यय न होने वाली निधि हैं

सम्भवो :-जो स्वेच्छा से प्रकट होतें हैं

भावनो :-जो सब भोक्ताओं को कर्मानुसार फल देतें हैं

भर्ता :-जो भरण पोषण करने वाले हैं

प्रभव: :-जिनसे सबकी उत्पत्ति हुई है

प्रभु :-जो सबके स्वामी हैं

ईश्वर :-जो पूर्ण ऐश्वर्यशाली हैं, जो सर्वसमर्थ हैं

Sarvah:- One who is all.
Sharvah:- Who vanishes all sufferings/who destructs the whole creation at its ending point.
Sivah:- One who bestows auspiciousness on all.
Sthaanu:- One who is firm and permanent.
Bhootaadi:- One who is source or cause of all beings.
Avyavo Nidhi:- The inexhaustible treasure.
Sambhavo:- One who manifests himself by his own free will.
BHavno:- One who gives both joy and sorrow to each one according to their good or bad deeds.
Bharta:- One who nurtures and supports all.
Prabhavah:- The Almighty Lord from which even the very concepts of time and space have sprung.
Prabhu:- He who is supreme lord of all.
Ishvar:- One who has supreme grandeur and magnificence and has ability to do anything without help of others.
